The Wheel Chock, a mechanical apparatus, is designed to provide a simple means of fixing wheels into place It is constructed of either natural or synthetic rubber reinforced with steel cords for strength, yet has the ability to provide a high load carrying capacity as well as excellent traction and cushioning capabilities. It has a steel plate attached on each side that has a triangular shape that is bolt attached at the edge of the steel plates where the plates meet at a right angle to each other.
The contact surface is moulded to be the same arc as the outside of the wheels, which provides a tight fit and reduces the opportunity for vehicles (trucks or trailers) to move forwards after having been parked at your company's loading dock. By preventing the movement of your wheels during the loading or unloading process, you are reducing the likelyhood of your employees injuring either themselves or any of the goods they are handling. People often use it in areas where trucks load and unload.
Performance Characteristics
Multiple safety protection measures
• High sensor sensitivity: linkage control with other equipment to remind safe operation.
• Linkage control: Inform the operation status by linkage signal light to avoid misoperation.
• Electrical safety: Set up leakage protection device, no risk of leakage.
